Oh! We meet again...
When we hear this phrase, we immediately think of the fresh, clean seafood at Hua Pla Chong Nonsi Restaurant and the delicious flavors of their hot pots—whether it's Tom Yum, clear soup, or sour plum soup. Today, Hua Pla Chong Nonsi is well-known among the general public, not only in Bangkok but also in the surrounding metropolitan areas. People widely acknowledge the delicious taste, quality of the food, and reasonable prices.
The origin of Hua Pla Chong Nonsi, as it’s known today, dates back to July 25, 1983. It began as a small roadside stall selling fish head hot pots and made-to-order seafood dishes along Rama III Road, founded and managed by husband and wife duo Mr. Krit and Mrs. Paew Limrattanakarn. Before long, the stall became popular among passersby in the Rama III area, known for its delicious seafood.
The turning point from a small food stall to the current Hua Pla Chong Nonsi Restaurant came from the development efforts of Mr. Krit and Mrs. Paew Limrattanakarn. They officially established the restaurant on July 5, 1986, creating a more stable establishment and expanding the menu to offer a wider variety of dishes. They named it “Hua Pla Chong Nonsi Restaurant.” Since then, the business has continued to grow, adding more branches along the way.
